This is Idris.

He's a grocery store manager in a big city.
Every night after work, he brings food to the homeless woman sitting on the corner.
Last week, he intervened when someone mocked her dirty clothes.
But no one else seems to care.
He wonders how the world has grown so cold.

Empathy has dropped almost 50% in 3 decades.

Only 30% of people would help someone they disagreed with.

Disconnected societies cost £32 billion annually in the UK alone.

Though we are more digitally connected than ever, our world has become divided and antagonistic – threatening our social fabric and leaving people in need out in the cold.

How we help

We nourish the world in body, mind, and spirit.

Our content rebuilds empathy and altruism, so people remember that we all have the same need for food, water, shelter, and love.

Our headquarters host community wellbeing programs and bring people together. Every year, we offer thousands of volunteer opportunities for people to feel connected locally and globally.

As we produce and roll out the creative content that generates aid, we offer employment opportunities and skills training to the underprivileged, ensuring that race, gender, orientation, disability, neurodiversity, and refugee status are no barrier to a meaningful livelihood.

A giving, caring, and connected society is a gift to the world.

Other ways we help

Be part of our volunteer team.

Gift the World has a wide range of volunteer opportunities in the coming months.  Please let us know how you would like to participate.
